Pure Berberine HCL Powder Production Process
Kintainutri® uses ultrasonic-assisted extraction combined with multi-stage purification technology to ensure the production of pharmaceutical-grade Berberine HCL powder with a purity of ≥97%, and the entire process is cGMP certified.
1. Strict selection of raw materials
We select high-quality Coptis rhizomes with a growth period of more than 5 years, and use infrared spectroscopy to initially screen to ensure that the Berberine content in the raw materials is ≥8%, ensuring the purity of the final product from the source.
2. Ultrasonic targeted extraction
With the assistance of 40kHz ultrasound, we use extraction solvents to achieve a cell wall breaking rate of 98% through cavitation effect, and the Berberine one-time extraction efficiency is increased to 92% (traditional processes are only 75%).
3. Three-stage molecular purification
• Macroporous resin adsorption: Selectively adsorb Berberine molecules and remove more than 60% of impurities such as polysaccharides and proteins
• Low-temperature recrystallization: -5℃ gradient crystallization to obtain intermediates with a purity of 95%
• Preparative HPLC: Ultimately increase the purity to ≥97%
4. Pharmaceutical grade drying standard
Vacuum freeze drying (-40℃/10Pa) is used to avoid thermal degradation, and the moisture content is controlled at ≤0.5%, ensuring that the powder flowability meets the USP<616> standard.
5. Purity verification system
